RED ALERT from CAR
CAR has issued a red alert for SB 1178, a bill it is sponsoring. The bill is designed for those who've refinanced “purchase money” loans and are now facing foreclosure. It focuses on the difference between the home's value and the amount owed.
UPDATE: This bill has moved on to its third reading on the Assembly floor.
