MERGER VOTE RESULTS

February 29 @ 5:00 PM The polls of East San Diego County Association of REALTORS® (ESDCAR), Pacific Southwest Association of REALTORS® (PSAR), and North San Diego County Association of REALTORS® (NSDCAR) closed at 5:00 p.m. today and the merger vote results are in. The membership of ESDCAR and PSAR overwhelmingly voted to approve a merger. By a narrow margin NSDCAR voted down the merger. Vote results are as follows: ASSOCIATION FOR MERGER AGAINST MERGER East County (ESDCAR) 273 14 South County (PSAR) 221 33 North County (NSDCAR) 588 614 A merger of ESDCAR and PSAR will proceed. Look for additional announcements over the next few months as the leaders of ESDCAR and PSAR complete the transition from two associations to one. The merger will accommodate new efficiencies and cost saving measures in an effort to keep membership dues low while potentially adding new services and expanding existing services. We will continue to support your business as we always have. You will continue to receive services in the same place and you may continue to participate in the association in the same manner.
