Pet Insurance

CAR Medical and Dental Health Plans

C.A.R. offers comprehensive health care plans that do not require a medical application and whose rates are based on location, age, and insurance carrier, not health status. New members must wait two months prior to acceptance but once accepted, all family members may join. Other health plans are available outside the open enrollment period. Individual and family pre-paid voluntary dental, vision, prescription, hearing and chiropractic plans are also available. C.A.R. also offers long and short-term disability and life insurance.

REALTORS® must sign up for C.A.R.'s guaranteed issue (i.e., no health application required) health plans with Kaiser or Blue Shield of California during C.A.R.'s annual OPEN ENROLLMENT period. REALTORS® may apply for other insurance at any time but are required to undergo a health underwriting process (i.e., fill out a health application and be accepted).

Legal Q & A's/Legal Briefs

C.A.R. Legal Services offer memoranda in question and answer format on over 150 subjects falling into over 50 categories. Legal Briefs are short, two to three pages, while the Q&A's provide more detailed coverage of legal subjects and can be ten pages or more. Topics range from natural hazard disclosures and REO sales requirements to arbitration and fair housing.

Q&A's and Legal Briefs can be obtained from C.A.R. online, from C.A.R.'s Real Estate Exchange Forum Library, or by calling the C.A.R. Legal Hotline. Legal Briefs can also be obtained by dialing the CARFAX automated fax delivery system.

Realegal® Legal Updates by E-mail
