Professional Standards  Committee

Responsible for the enforcement of the REALTOR® Code of Ethics and conducting arbitration. If the Grievance Committee determines that a formal complaint filed with the association warrants a disciplinary hearing, the case is referred to the Professional Standards Committee. Hearing tribunals are then assembled from the committee members. Committee members are provided mandatory training sessions and must become familiar with the rules and requirements for conducting hearings according to the NAR and CAR manuals.
