Finance  Committee

This committee's objective is to keep the association in a strong financial position. The committee considers and recommends ways and means to maintain the financial viability of the association by reviewing financial statements, recommending policy changes, and reviewing proposed expenditures recommended by other committees.

The Finance Committee conducts an annual review of the detailed estimated expenses and revenues contained in the association budget to determine whether they are appropriate to the accomplishment of the objectives defined in the association's long-range plan. The committee meets with the various committee staff and elected leadership to recommend overall program funding and membership dues levels. All budget recommendations are submitted to the board of directors for approval. The Finance Committee is chaired by the association treasurer.
